Malaysian Research Accelerator for Technology & Innovation (MRANTI) had visited our research centre and had a fun insightful trip inside the BSF industry. Their post in LinkedIn captions:
“Our MRANTI team had a learning experience during their site visit to Entomal Biotech lab at UiTM Puncak Alam to understand better on Ento Technology (circular economy solutions powered by insects), a concept developed in alternative protein and the sustainable development sector.
A huge shout out to Entomal Biotech Sdn. Bhd. (Entomal), a local Malaysian biotech startup working together with the Faculty of Health Sciences at UiTM Puncak Alam, in advancing research on the production and application of Black Soldier Fly (BSF) to create a circular economy.
On a side note, BSF has been widely used to process various daily organic waste, as well as to protect the environment and reduce pollution.
What a way to create and accelerate sustainable impact!
